Keith Olbermann follows Trump coup remarks with ‘you are the leaker’ profanity filled traitor attack
Keith Olbermann, host of ‘The Resistance’ from GQ, calls for a special prosecutor to investigate Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 election. He says Donald Trump is a “puppet of Putin.”
He says the election of Trump respresents the U.S. losing a war with Russia. “We are no longer a sovereign nation, we are no longer a democracy, we are no longer a free people,” he said. “We are the victims of a bloodless coup –so far– engineered by Russia with the traitorous indifference of the Republican Party.”
Now a day or so later, Olbermann offered up more unhinged liberal attacks on President Trump, tweeting “YOU are the leaker, you stupid, pea-brained, motherfucking traitor. RESIGN,” Olbermann wrote in response to a Trump tweet blaming the intelligence community for exposing the president’s leaks to Russia.’
During Olbermann’s Resistance Report on Monday, the broadcaster accused Trump of committing six crimes in a single week.
“Donald Trump has now eliminated his own benefit of the confusion,” Olbermann noted. “The Trump-Russia cover-up case is now about threatening people and firing people and pressuring people to keep them from investigating you and your colleagues.”
“The smoke doesn’t matter anymore,” he added. “Who needs Russian smoke when the White House is on fire?”

“We are at war with Russia…Or perhaps more correctly, we have lost a war with Russia without a battle. We are no longer a sovereign nation, we are no longer a democracy, we are no longer a free people, we are the victims of a bloodless coup — so far a bloodless coup engineered by Russia with the traitorous indifference of the Republican Party.
“[P]ermitting Donald Trump to assume the office of president reduces the chance that we will have any future elections,” he added. “The nation and all of our freedoms hang by a thread, and the military apparatus of this country is about to be handed over to scum! Who are beholden to scum! Russian scum! As things are today, January 20th will not be an inauguration, but rather the end of the United States as an independent country. It will not be a peaceful change of power. It will be a usurpation, and the usurper has no validity, no credibility, and no authority under the Constitution.”
