Kate Micucci says Raj and Lucy not over yet, door ‘left wide open’ for ‘Big Bang Theory’ season 7
Fans may have been saddened or disheartened by the Raj and Lucy break-up at the end of Big Bang Theory season 6, but it may not be over.
Kate Micucci, who plays Lucy tells Latinospost.com that “The door was intentionally left wide open” for Lucy to return as Raj’s ex. “Raj said at the end of Season 6, ‘I pushed it too hard. I need to give her some space.’ And he’s still heartbroken about Lucy and sort of picking up the pieces and trying to move forward… But I love those characters together.”
The synopsis of season 7 episode one and two (see below) don’t offer many clues their romance may be only enduring life’s ups-and-downs.
The Big Bang Theory returns to CBS on September 26.
Synopsis of first episodes: “The Hofstadter Insufficiency” and “The Deception Verification” –- Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) share intimate secrets while Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is away at sea, later, Sheldon’s feelings are crushed when Leonard returns. Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) gets consoled about his ex-girlfriend and Wolowitz’s (Simon Helberg) relationship with his mother causes an unusual threat to his masculinity. Regina King returns as Mrs. Davis, the University’s Director of Employee Relations, and Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart, the comic book store owner.
