Kansas: Body found in pond identified as Ronnie Freudovoll
The Overland Park Police Department in Kansas identified the man found early Tuesday in a pond as Ronnie Freudovoll.
Freudenvoll, 37, was found and police were called to the area about 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. The man was identified yesterday after vague reports previously.
“nvestigators said the man, who is black, is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. Police said he has black hair about 2 inches long and a black beard,” those police statements said.
The man’s body was found in a pond near 95th Street and Metcalf Avenue and police clarified that they don’t have any evidence of foul play at this time.
Freudenvoll’s shirt and flip-flops were found on the shore, and a dive team was called in to recover the body.
“Thanks to all who reached out to assist with this investigation,” Overland Park police said in a statement.
Police are considering the investigation ongoing and anyone with information should read out to officials and call 913-344-8750.
