Kamala Harris concerned about ‘babies are being slaughtered’, criticizes GOP for targeting women’s Constitutional right to choose

Ultra-progressive, Pro-abortion, California Senator, Kamala Harris has a real history of saying things that are inconsistent at best, idiotic at worst.

Remember about one year ago when she said of President Trump’s choice for the Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch–“Judge Gorsuch has consistently valued legalisms over real lives. I won’t support his nomination” or last summer when she tweeted–“Joe Arpaio was convicted because he committed a crime. He should not be pardoned.”


Then of course, there was just last month when blamed President Trump’s “anti-immigrant agenda” for a decrease in illegal immigrants seeking college financial aid in her state. She tweeted– “For the second year in a row, fewer undocumented youth applied for financial aid in California because they are distrustful of our government. This is a direct product of Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda. No one in America should ever have to live in fear of our government.”


Now Senator Harris, with some understandable outrage over the school shooting in Parkland, FL tweets-“We cannot tolerate a society and live in a country with any level of pride when our babies are being slaughtered.”

Does the darling of Planned Parenthood, Emily’s List and NARAL and huge pro-abortion advocate even realize what she said? Does she care?

Steve Byas writes in the New American:

Harris’ concern for those who died in the tragic Florida school shooting is commendable. However, her solution — to abridge the constitutional right to keep and bear arms of millions of Americans who had nothing to do with it — is not.

And her outright advocacy of the right to kill — or in her own words, “slaughter” — unborn babies, is detestable.

Do these unborn children not have as much right to live as any other person living in America? If one reads the U.S. Constitution, it would certainly seem so.

The 14th Amendment was adopted in the aftermath of the Civil War, primarily to protect the civil rights of the millions of former slaves. In Section 1, it states that no state can “deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Allowing an unborn baby to be torn to pieces via abortion, without being found guilty of any crime, would certainly seem to be a denial of due process. Even an accused murderer, rapist, or bank robber is allowed due process before being deprived of life, liberty, or property. But in the America of Kamala Harris, that does not include babies in the womb.

Harris did stick to script just two weeks later with a tweet–I am sick and tired of Republican politicians playing politics with our health care and going out of their way to target women’s constitutional right to choose. We deserve better.

I guess babies being slaughtered doesn’t have quite the same meaning to Sen. Harris on Feb. 28.
