‘Justified’ season 6 trailer previews ‘the end,’ Joelle Carter’s Ava must pick sides

Justified fans are clamoring after the new promo teases the final season with Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan battling Walton Goggins’ Boyd Crowder with Ava (Joelle Carter) in the mix.

The sixth and final season of hit show on FX will pit the two prime characters against one another and the new trailer asks it Raylan will get the bullet – or, as it says, “the bullet finds you.”

“Unlikely,” says Raylan in the montage of action as Ava then is in the epicenter of conflict, asked to betray Boyd.

Season five ends with Raylan ready to leave Harlan (alive) until he decided to do one final thing—set Ava up to rat on Boyd, presumably to help Vasquez (Rick Gomez) and Rachel (Erica Tazel) get to Boyd’s new business partner, Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen). The hat trick also insinuates that it’s been fun and games between Raylan and Boyd until now, even if said games involve Boyd taking a bullet from Raylan and not just his Stetson. In the final season, their standoff is serious.

Cinema Blend summarizes the tension “The only question is whether or not she can keep her face with both men, or if Boyd will smell something suspicious, as he seems to when he watches her sleep. She’s definitely got me fooled into thinking she’s having fun here. ”

Indeed the showdown is coming and Justified season 6 will begin on January 20 at 10 p.m.
