Joseph Morgan talks ‘Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers and characters for ‘The Originals’

Ever since the “Vampire Diaries” spin-off “The Originals” was first announced, there were a multitude of questions that started to pop up. Fans speculated the future of as Rebekah, or the idea that Joseph Morgan’s Klaus moving to New Orleans would lead to the end of the character’s hopes at a love connection with Caroline.

“There are going to be characters that cross over between the two worlds. The whole world is going to be richer,” he explains.

“It would imagine all the fans that have been so generous to me are going to want to see what happens with Caroline…I feel like I owe it to the fans for there to be some resolve and for her to possibly turn up in New Orleans at some point. I know there’s already talks about different characters that can come over to New Orleans and then go back.”

It was confirmed earlier this week that while much of the pilot is going to actually film within the Big Easy to make use of locations, the series itself will continue to be shot in Atlanta in order to take advantage of the crossover potential between one show and the other.

“Diaries” has been renewed for a season 5, details here and Claire Holt (Rebekah Mikaelson) will be joining Morgain on “The Originals”  pilot.
