Jordan Graham accused of blindfolding her groom, Cody Johnson, then pushing him off of a cliff
A new theory surrounding the death of Cody Lee Johnson which may involve his fiance blindfolding him and pushing him off of a cliff.
DNA test results on a piece of cloth found near Johnson’s body may connect to a portion of an interview with Jordan Linn Graham, age 22. She claimed that she and Johnson talked about driving to Glacier National Park (where Johnson was found) and walk off of a cliff.
She confessed that she argued with Cody Lee Johnson, age 25, about waiting longer to marry.
The couple evidently was acting out this fantasy, with Johnson talking to her like she was a child and grabbed her arm. She said she knocked his arm off and pushed him in one motion, causing him to fall.
“I think I didn’t realize that one push would mean for sure you were over,” Graham said, according to the transcript. “I felt like I shouldn’t have gotten married at that time, but not, there were not any issues of being with Cody, no. I feel like he’s the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with.”
Prosecutors told the defense team this theory for the first time in a conference call a month ago and the defense attorney is attempting to “block the theory.”
The defense team wants to know if the “blindfold theory” was presented to the grand jury and why it wasn’t mentioned in the original charging documents, MTN News reported.
