Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Colbert Report and The Chair on Clint Eastwood and the Obama chair

Check out the video clips from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, the Colbert Report and Bill Maher – all discussing Clint Eastwood and the “Obama Chair” speech at the RNC.

Obama says in an interview with USA Today released Sunday the Eastwood is “a great actor, and an even better director.” But Obama was coy when asked if he was offended by the performance. Obama says, quote, “if you’re easily offended, you should probably choose another profession.”

The president joked on Twitter after Eastwood’s appearance, tweeting that “this seat’s taken,” along with a photo of him in his chair at a Cabinet meeting.

Austin-based comedy collective Humordy made this Hollywood-centric video after Clint Eastwood’s Republican National Convention speech to an empty chair that was meant to represent President Obama:

The Maher video has some profanity and traditional liberal insults
