Jon Erwin previews ‘Moms’ Night Out,’ making a clean and touching comedy
“October Baby” co-creator Jon Erwin previewed his next film with The Global Dispatch/Dispatch Radio, detailing the new film Moms’ Night Out.
Moms’ Night Out is a clean, fun mayhem film centering around the chaos of parenting and Erwin is hope ful that it will deliver laughs while touching and moving audiences.
Sarah Drew (“Grey’s Anatomy”) stars alongside Sean Astin (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy”), singer turned actor Trace Adkins (“The Lincoln Lawyer”), Patricia Heaton (“Everybody Loves Raymond,” “The Middle”), Kevin Downes (“Courageous”), Abbie Cobb (“Suburgatory”), Robert Amaya (“October Baby,” “Courageous”), Andrea Logan White (“Revelation Road”) and David Hunt.
Erwin doesn’t just praise the cast, he refers to them as a great team and something to work with. Jon co-wrote and co-directed the film with his brother Andrew and Jon discusses the goal of making such a bold comedy for the faith-based community.
Writing from real life experiences and emotions, Jon explains the motivations behind this film as well as “Coffee Shop” which he wrote and is being directed by Dave Allen Johnson.
