20th Century Fox’s Independence Day: Resurgence promotion is starting to ramp up as the new film is set to arrive next month.
Led by William Fichtner’s General Adams, folks are asked to join the this recruitment in the spot to encourage citizens across the globe to join the fight against the eventual alien attack. For the truly courageous, the very real recruitment opportunities are for the U.S. Army, which sponsor’s the video.

Independence Day: Resurgence will feature the return of director Roland Emmerich, partnering with producers Dean Devlin and Harald Kloser with Emmerich. Also back is Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox and Brent Spiner, all set to reprise their respective role from the first film.
Replacing Will Smith will be Liam Hemsworth and Jessie Usher, likely to tease the younger generation and fuel enough interest for another sequel or two. Usher plays Captain Steven Hiller’s son, taking the aerial fight to space this time. President Whitmore (Pullman) is rumored to have a connection to the aliens after learning the plans of their species through a psychic connection in the first film. The beard shows us that he is out of politics with a new president making the difficult calls.
Resurgence also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.
Independence Day: Resurgence arrives in theaters next month on June 24, 2016.
