There have been reports that the reason for the actor’s behavior is due to his “deteriorating relationship” with his now ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The celebrity couple had been fighting a lot which is causing the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 star to come in late. It was reported that it came to a point where Depp would no longer show up for work due to his marital dispute with Heard.

“The remarks came as part of a discussion about recent headlines which allege that Depp cut the end of his finger off in a rage, while high on alcohol and ecstasy. It’s also alleged that he then dipped the wounded digit in blue paint and daubed a message on a mirror, accusing 30-year-old actress Heard of having an affair with Billy Bob Thornton.”

The movie’s production was reported to have been put on hold for four weeks as Depp had to fly back to the United States to undergo surgery after acquiring a hand injury during filming, but it was never confirmed how Depp sustained the injury.

Rumor has it that he was injured in a go-karting accident at Aussie MotoGP star Mick Doohan’s house.

Disney has offered no real promotion for the film set to open next summer.

Few details have been confirmed, but Jack Sparrow (Depp) somehow possesses Poseidon’s trident and his hunted by Capt. Salazar, played by Javier Bardem.
