Harrison Ford will be returning to play Indy in the movie and now fans learn composer John Williams will be back as  well. Williams scored all all four Indy movies to date and will notch and another Star Wars film down on his resume, confirmed to be scoring Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Williams reportedly told Variety that “I told [Lucasfilm boss] Kathy Kennedy I’m happy to do it, but the real reason is I didn’t want anyone else writing music for Daisy Ridley.”

Little is known about the new Indiana Jones adventure with Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World) rumored to be joining and possibly taking over the franchise.

After a box office smashing film in The Force Awakens, Star Wars 8 will arrive next December, December 15, 2017 with Ridley returning alongside John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Billie Lourd and newcomers Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro.
