John Cusack tweets on filibuster ‘Where are Democrats’ calls Obama ‘regressive corporate warlord’
Actor John Cusack was watching Wednesday night’s drone filibuster and wondering “where are the Democrats?”
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) took up a talking filibuster against John Brennan’s nomination as CIA director, which stretched to nearly 13 hours.
“I would go for another 12 hours to try to break Strom Thurmond’s record, but I’ve discovered that there are some limits to filibustering and I’m going to have to go take care of one of those in a few minutes here,” Paul said as he wrapped up his speech.
Actor John Cusack was apparently following the filibuster, sending out a series of frustrated tweets over the course of several hours.
A for-instance, here’s a tweet of Cusack’s (that exceeded 140 characters). “AG say its ok to kill us citizens–and other bad guys- but trust us we’re the good guys.. how’d that play out through history mr holder… pay no attention to the man behind that curtain the great and powerful O has spoken…”
For gods sake where are democrats ?? “@democracynow: Rand Paul: Obama Admin Response Drones “More Than Frightening” owl.li/itdHI”

It would go a long with me if only take a few more courageous hollywood liberals like Cusack would express what they have been wondering for some time now, specifically, what is Obama really about here?
