Jodi Sta. Maria wins battle over dengue, thanks fans for the prayers
After about a week of absence from the popular Philippines TV drama, Be Careful with my Heart, it is reported that the actress that plays Maya dela Rosa, Jodi Sta. Maria is back on the set after being hospitalized with dengue fever, according to an ABS-CBN video report Monday.
Co-star Richard Yap confirmed that Jody was back on the set on his official Twitter account:

Yap, of course, plays Richard “Ser Chief” Lim opposite Sta. Maria on the daytime drama.
Jodi Sta. Maria was diagnosed and hospitalized with the mosquito borne viral disease, dengue fever last Tuesday and has been unable to film the TV show.
Jodi took to her Twitter account Sunday to thank fans and friends alike for the outpouring of prayers and well wishes during her illness:

Dengue fever is endemic in the Philippines where there has been approximately 120,000 cases reported on the archipelago this year to date.
