Jessica Sanchez to perform concert to raise money for Typhoon Yolanda victims

Singing superstar and American Idol Season 11 runner-up, Jessica Sanchez has announced she will be performing a concert to raise funds to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.

In a post from her official Facebook page she writes, “Blujays! Anyone around the world can join StageIt or Stageit.com and watch me perform on Friday. Tickets are only $10 and it’s a LIVE streaming event. Hope to see you there 🙂 Get yours here:http://bit.ly/17S2FmT

The benefit concert will take place on Friday, November 15 at 8 pm EST on the online concert venue, StageIt.

The proceeds from the 30 minute concert will be donated to Red Cross to help provide aid for those in need who were affected by typhoon Haiyan last week.

In addition, Jessica says there will be prizes for the top 3 tippers. She writes:

Blujays! The top tippers will receive the following:

1st: A signed “Glee” script, signed poster, follow/@-mention on Twitter
2nd: Signed poster, follow/@-mention on Twitter
3rd: Follow/@-mention on Twitter

The California native is of Filipino and Mexican-American heritage.  Her father is a Mexican American, originally from Texas and her mother is a Filipina from Samal, Bataan in the Philippines.
