Jeremy Trawitzki and Thomas Kruse identified as two dead in Wisconsin murder suicide

Muskego police have identified the two people killed in a murder-suicide incident on Friday, October 30th as Jeremy Trawitzki, 38, and 41-year-old Thomas Kruse.

Both men were found dead outside of Lake DeNoon Saloon, owned by Philip DeMarinis. Police haven’t detailed the lead up to Kruse shooting and what the motive was, but Trawitzki worked at the saloon and was found dead, laying at the side of his car.

“There was a number of gunshots fired,” DeMarinis said. “One of my employees came running up and said he heard some pops,” he told Fox.

“He says ‘come outside and bring your gun.’ There was a number of gunshots fired,” said DeMarinis.

Laying over by a dumpster was Kruse, the husband of one of his servers.

“We saw he (Kruse) had a gun in his hand, and I carry a gun, and I had my gun out, and he was not moving either,” DeMarinis said.

DeMarinis said his workers are like family, and it was important to continue with the evening as planned.

“We figured, we’re going to open. We have a lot of reservations because we have entertainment tonight, and we’re not going to disappoint the public over this,” he said,

Muskego police said the investigation continues and confirmed that no one else appears to have been involved in the shooting.
