Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill all confirmed for ‘Jurassic World 3’, child stars waiting
Director Colin Trevorrow has announced that the original cast of Jurassic Park, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, are set to reprise their iconic roles in Jurassic World 3.

Trevorrow dropped the news at a Collider-hosted screening of Jurassic World at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, noting that they’ll all have sizable roles in the sequel.
According to sources of ET, the child actors from the original film, Joseph Mazzello and Ariana Richards, are both open to returning for the final film in the Jurassic World franchise, but there are currently no active discussions.
Mazzello and Richards portrayed Tim and Lex Murphy respectively, who are the grandchildren of the park’s owner John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), making a cameo in the sequel The Lost World, but have not appeared in the franchise since.
The Jurassic World social media accounts confirmed the news on Wednesday that Neill, Goldblum and Dern will be reprising Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm and Ellie Sattler, respectively.
Dern expressing her excitement at the prospect of returning to the franchise, posted a video on Twitter.
“Hey everyone, I’m so excited,” she gushed in the clip. “I guess you’ve heard. I’ll be coming back to join everyone for Jurassic World 3, and I will see you in 2021.”
Goldblum posted on Instagram:

Trevorrow, who directed 2015’s Jurassic World and the recently televised Jurassic short, Battle at Big Rock, and co-wrote both World and 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will return to write and direct this film.
Jurassic World 3 will be directed by Trevorrow and produced by Steven Spielberg with a cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern.
Pratt expressed his approval and enthusiasm to working with the original cast: “Just in case you hadn’t seen the news. It’s finally happening. Get ready for what is absolutely without a doubt going to be the biggest, baddest and best, movie of the franchise. #WeSparedNoExpense

Jurassic World 3 is set for release on June 21st 2021.
