Wicker and flying partner Charlie have been featured on several magazine covers, and been the subject of many interviews over the years. Their work has been featured in the Atlantic Flyer, The Record, The Weekender and AOPA.
In a blog post on Wicker’s website, the high-flying stuntwoman asks the question: Why do I do this?
She answers her question with the following statement:
There is nothing that feels more exhilarating or freer to me than the wind and sky rushing by me as the earth rolls around my head. My soul is fed by the air and I get a complete sense of fulfillment by not only the experience, but by challenging myself and doing something so uniquely different. I’m alive up there. To soar like a bird and touch the sky puts me in a place where I feel I totally belong.
