Talking with Dispatch Radio, Grace discussed how it was a different experience than her years writing in her college dorm room.
“I love recording all the time. It’s been such a huge blessing. I was making music in college but now all my focus is to music and it’s a huge blessing, it’s a privilege. I think it’s really cool I get to make music…and it’s even cooler people listen to it.”
She performed at Disney’s Night of Joy and spoke briefly about that experience saying “The energy of Night of Joy is incredible, everybody is so pumped” before describing the crowd and “getting to be a part of so many different lives.”
Tobymac is “kinda weird,” Grace joked as she detailed how influential he was and has been in her life and career.
He reached out to the unknown in Atlanta after seeing her on YouTube and she details those first meetings and how much he “encourages” her and helps “keep her in the word of God.”
She will be featured in a new film titled Grace Unplugged which arrives in October and Grace joked about “acting my entire life” and “writing scripts her whole life.”
“It was very terrifying to be on set,” she confessed before saying how “fun” it was and rewarding it became after seeing the final product.
