The Union County Sheriff’s Office says a Jacksonville man has been arrested and accused of shooting a mother and daughter early Saturday morning.

Mills was was charged with two counts of attempted murder.
The Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a domestic disturbance call to discover a woman and her child were shot. The two victims, whose names were not released, were transported to UF Health in Gainesville in stable condition.
Some reports that the woman was his wife, “Melinda” and his daughter, but that is unconfirmed at this time.
