A video released from ISIS showed the Sunni terrorist organization training children as young as 5 years old. The video shows the boys wearing fatigues and black bandanas and chant, “Allah Ahkbar,” which means “Allah is the greatest.”
The video was filmed at the Al Farouq Institue for Cubs in Raqqa.
“If you believe the ISIS caliphate is the best place to be and Allah commands you to go there, you’d want your family there, too,” Ryan Mauro of the Clarion Project saidin the Christian News coverage. “For ISIS supporters, this is like signing your kid up for the best private school.

“ISIS is emphasizing its child recruits because it obviously makes for good footage but also to emphasize this is a generational struggle,” he added. “You can kill off the current leaders and fighters, but their kids will fight on. It makes it harder to celebrate ISIS’ losses if you know their manpower will be replenished with brainwashed children.”
ISIS’ training of young children has emerged in previous clips, including one from the fall of 2014. In the video, Abdullah Al-Beligian of Belgium asks his young son Abdullah: “What do you want to be? A jihadist or to execute a martyrdom operation?”
The boy answers: “A jihadist.”
In the recently released video, a boy says: “In the name of Allah, my name is Daoud and I’m 14 years old.
“I’d like to join the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and to kill with them because they fight the infidels and apostates…I love the Islamic State.”
