ISIS continues executing gays by throwing them from buildings
The Islamic State has put to death another young man by throwing him off the tallest building in Raqqa, their established capital in Syria.
The man, in his 20s, was accused of homosexuality and sentenced to immediate death under Sharia Law. A Syrian activist group who call themselves “Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently ” report taht the man was blindfolded, dragged through a crowd in Raqqa and taken to the top of a multi-story building and cast over the side.
The group provided details and images to the Daily Mail, noting that a crowd formed and some climbed on other rooftops to get a “better view” of the execution.
“Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently has personnel working undercover to expose the brutality of the Islamic State in its stronghold,” says the Mail, who published the disturbing images, one with the caption: “The stomach-churning photographs show a large bloodthirsty crowd gathered at the foot of a multi-storey building in the group’s de facto capital Raqqa to watch the murder of the young victim.”
The Daily Mail said that the images contain the yellow logo of the Al Hayat Media Centre, suggesting that the images were screenshots of an as yet unreleased propaganda video from the Islamic State.
Al Hayat Media Centre handles the production of videos that ISIS releases to promote its activities as well as to encourage recruitment.
ISIS has previously executed several men in Raqqa after accusing them of homosexuality. In December, the group released images showing men suspected of being gay being crucified and left to die.
In early February, the miltants threw two allegedly gay men from a multi-story building. Both men survived the fall but were killed when crowds on the ground stoned them.
Last week, another young man was shown being pushed off a building and stoned to death by onlookers.
Raqqa fell to the Islamic State in early 2014 and has since become the group’s headquarters and seat of power in Syria.

This is horrible. Castration would have been sufficient.
