Is ABS-CBN tapping Kim Chiu to play the role of Dyesebel?

A report about Kim Chiu’s next project on ABS-CBN is circulating online this morning, Dec. 30, 2013 (Philippine time). Based on this article, the former Pinoy Big Brother Housemate was chosen by the management to play the role of Dyesebel (Mermaid) in 2014.

The remake of Dyesebel (Mermaid), a Mars Ravelo created character, has become one of the most hot topics on Twitter these past few days when the ABS-CBN management posted an AD on Instagram.

At that time, people were speculating that Sarah Geronimo or Angel Locsin will bring home the bacon because they believe that these two talented ABS-CBN stars can portray the role of a mermaid with flying colors, but like what the reports said it’s Kim Chiu.
