Illinois: Missing man, Paul Carr, found dead in a field
Wauconda police in Illinois have identified a dead body found in a field after responding to reports of an “unoccupied suspicious vehicle” with “a large amount of blood inside.”
Police used K9 units to search the surrounding area when they discovered the body of Paul T. Carr.
Carr, 41, was a physical therapist who worked at Barrington Orthopedics in Buffalo Grove.
Authorities located the body of a man in a large cornfield nearby.
Wauconda police say the Carr had been reported missing Sunday morning to Buffalo Grove police.
Wauconda police have not release any information about how Carr died.
They said they will wait for the results of an autopsy from the Lake County coroner, Howard Cooper.
This is a strange story. How do you interpret “he was killed by sharp force trauma but is not considered by police as a homicide”? Does this mean the investigation is focusing on suicide? Any more news from the Coronor?
There is a new statement: the coroner’s office have stated that “Carr died of injuries caused by sharp force trauma” and the police now says “department is now investigating an allegation made against the victim at his workplace”
Earlier remark has been confirmed by another source:
“the Buffalo Grove Police department is currently investigating an allegation against Mr. Carr which reportedly occurred at his place of work.”
No details of that investigation are available at this time.
