‘Hunger Games’ star Jennifer Lawrence talks Mystique, ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’ and being ‘mutant and proud’
Jennifer Lawrence talked about her role in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and how her character Mystique has changed since the last film.
Talking with Sci-Fi Now Lawrence does confirm her look is pretty much the same.
“Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint,” says Lawrence of her character, before going on to reveal that she’ll spend a lot more time on film without clothes.
A brief reveal was shared by twitter – check that out here.
Mystique was struggling with her mutant abilities, always seeking acceptance and the eye of Xavier, but now she is more comfortable with her new alliances.
“She’s different in this film, too,” continues Lawrence. “She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is mutant and proud.”
Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman uniting casts from the original X-Men trilogy and First Class.
X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open July 17, 2014.
