Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor dead at 79

The movie legend famous for her acting and many marriages died Wednesday morning as a result of congestive heart failure, according to reports from the AP.

The English-American actress became famous at the age of 9 after her debut in the 1942 Universal comedy There’s One Born Every Minute. her career took off with her starring in more than 70 movies and films over the last 7 decades.

Taylor’s fame wasn’t only from the movies, her multiple marriages were also a topic of ridicule and notoriety. Her seven husbands, most notably Eddie Fisher and Richard Burton, added to her fame.

“I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands.” said Taylor in an interview with Kim Kardashian (Feb 9,2011).
