‘Hobbit’ hangs on at box office, beating ‘Django Unchained’ and ‘Les Miserables’
Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey just outpaced the competition to stay at the top spot in 2012′s final box office with $32.9 million.
Opening films “Django Unchained,” “Les Miserables” and “Parental Guidance” followed in box office order with “Jack Reacher” rounding out the top five.
