‘Himmatwala’: Watch Ajay Devgn and Tamannah recreate the magic of ‘Taki o Taki’

Director Sajid Khan is all set to recreate the magic of the ‘80’s in his entertainer, “Himmatwala.” The official trailer of the action comedy starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannah was released on Jan. 24, 2013 and the link was shared across social networking sites, including Twitter by UTV Motion Pictures.
The tweet reads,” The 80’s are back! Here’s the #Himmatwala trailer featuring Ajay Devgn and Tamannah. Enjoy!”
“Himmatwala” is a remake of the massive hit of the ’80s of the same name that featured the then-superstar, Jeetendra and the southern sensation, Sridevi.
The remake of “Himmatwala” boasts a quintessential retro look. Along with a sizzling disco number by Sonakshi Sinha, it also has in place the very popular “Taki o Taki” and ‘Ta Thaiya,” song. The latter is an extravagant number choreographed by Farah Khan and shot in the royal locales of Jaipur.
“It is a very 1980s dance number, and Ajay was seen quite comfortable with the steps. He has his own style of dancing and has given it his best. We are sure that Ajay’s dancing will leave all of us thrilled,” a source close to the team told a leading daily.
The film is set to release on the 29th March 2013.
