Hillsong UNITED sets show for USF Sun Dome in Tampa, tickets on sale Friday
Hillsong UNITED is bringing their “Empires Tour” to the USF Sun Dome on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 7:00PM. The show will also feature Rend Collective. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 20th at 10:00AM. Ticket prices are $99.50, $49.50, $44.50, $39.50, $32.50 and $27.50. Additional fees may apply. Hillsong UNITED is a worship band that originally rose out of the youth ministry of Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. This worship band is a global recording and touring entity sent out to share the ever-evolving worship music of Hillsong Church to an international audience through live performances and records. Hillsong UNITED desires to see a generation across the earth awakened to real love, rising up with hearts as one and finding value in the broken, hurting and lost connecting with Jesus.
“We haven’t really done our own thing in the USA since WelcomeZion 2013, so we are super excited to be bringing the EMPIRES tour to the states,” said Joel Houston of Hillsong UNITED. “We write songs to be sung with people – they are always for the people – so when we get to sing these songs with people on the road, it is the purpose of why we do what we do! We can’t wait to worship with people singing all the new EMPIRES songs as well as everyone’s favorites.”
The “Empires Tour” will feature Irish folk-rock and worship band, Rend Collective. From the bewildering array of children’s toys and whimsical, handmade oddities they call instruments, to the hare-brained and wonderfully impractical scheme of recording a live album on the beach around a campfire, to the safety-defying audacity of shooting a music video on a fully-operational fishing boat in the turbulent Irish Sea, this fascinating worship community has always pursued the colorful and unexpected. Their latest album, As Family We Go, was released on August 21, 2015.
