Hillary Clinton tops Alan Grayson, Mark Meadows for ‘Worst Ethics Violator of 2015’
Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton has earned a new honor: “Worst Ethics Violator of 2015.”
The Foundation for Accountability and Government Trust (FACT), a Washington-based think tank, released the year-end list of Worst Ethics Violators and Clinton ran away with the contest.
More recently Clinton offered up a special favor for her son-in-law’s buddy at Goldman Sachs, a potentially illegal coordination with the Ready For Hillary Super PAC. FACT even filed a complaint with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics regarding Clinton’s State Department favor for her son-in-law and his pal.
FACT’s list of ethical violators was strictly nonpartisan, with Democrat Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) showing up on the list alongside Republican Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) for their own ethical quandaries.
While Clinton and the DNC took issue with the Bernie Sanders campaign “breaching” rules over supporter lists, Clinton’s email scandal, questionable ties to Russian deals through the Clinton Foundation and lingering new accusations surrounding the Benghazi cover-up never have hindered her success as the Democratic frontrunner.
In fact, the former Secretary of State is pulling away from the Vermont socialist, leading by over 60 points.
That new poll doesn’t indicate that “If Clinton is elected, 33 percent of all voters would be proud and 35 percent would be embarrassed” – possibly pointing that the pile up of scandals does matter to some voters, even on the Democratic side of the aisle.
