Harrison Ford says his ‘Anchorman 2’ scene not critical, calls Christina Applegate ‘the applesauce girl’
Given the secrecy around Anchorman 2 aka Anchorman: The Legend Continues, you might think that Christopher Nolan was producing the movie. Harrison Ford, who plays a “legendary newsman” spoke briefly about his role.
Ford tells Entertainment Tonight that the experience was “bizarre,” he shares that his time on set involved only a couple of the principal actors whose names he jokingly can’t recall.
“It’d be easy enough to cut out. I don’t think it’s critical… [It was] bizarre,” he said. “They weren’t all in the scene that I did. It was just [Will Ferrell] and the applesauce girl [Christina Applegate].”
Anchorman returns to theaters on December 20, 2013.
