Harrison Ford confirmed to return as Han Solo for ‘Star Wars Episode VII’

Two sources confirm that the famous actor will appear in the new “Star Wars” film, even if it is in a small role.

Latino Review, openly with Fox News, says Harrison Ford is on board with the new film, just called “Star Wars Episode VII” for now, which will be directed by JJ Abrams.

Abrams and Ford have collaborated on previous projects – Abrams wrote Regarding Henry, and produced Morning Glory – but this will be the first time JJ will get to direct his childhood hero.

The new “Star Wars” film is likely going to set up the role of Han and Leia’s children as the new Jedi leaders. The novels have a comprehensive universe of tons of stories, characters and scenarios to pull from.

The new film is slated for the summer of 2015.
