Did you know that four bullets rained through Volusia County’s Republican Party headquarters last week?

Yea, probably not. Cable news, perhaps the worst thing to happen to the United States in the past several decades, were essentially silent on it.

The Daytona News-Journal reports: South Daytona Police Capt. Mark Cheatham said Monday his agency is investigating the shooting that left shattered glass and fallen campaign posters that littered the sidewalk outside 2841 S. Nova Road — the Nova Fountain — strip mall near Reed Canal Park.

On Tuesday, the City of South Daytona posted the following on their Facebook page:

The South Daytona Police are asking for your help in identifying the potential suspect vehicle shown in this video in regards to the Republican HQ shooting incident. This vehicle was observed driving through the parking lot with the headlights off at approximately 1:30 am Monday morning. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Dion Willey at 322-3047 or Investigator Jeramy Scarscella at 322-3044. Or call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-277-TIPS. Click link below:

Where was the cable coverage? Where was Joe and Mika? Chris Matthews? Rachel Maddow?…crickets.

Just imagine if it was a Andrew Gillum campaign office. You know exactly how that story would be packaged.
