‘Gotham’ stars Sean Pertwee and David Mazouz set for MegaCon Tampa Bay
Southeast’s largest fan convention, with shows in both Orlando and Tampa Bay, returns to the Tampa Convention Center for another star-studded year from Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 23, 2018. Now confirmed are Gotham stars Sean Pertwee and David Mazouz.
From the sites’ bio on Pertwee: “Sean Carl Roland Pertwee is an English actor and voice actor. Pertwee attended Teddington School and Sunbury College. Pertwee has played Captain Fitzpatrick in the play Tom Jones, Sergeant Wells in Dog Soldiers, Pilot Smith in Event Horizon, Inspector Lestrade in CBS’s Elementary and Alfred Pennyworth in Fox’s Gotham. He is also the narrator of MasterChef: The Professionals and Wild Canada.”
Mazouz of course plays Bruce Wayne in the Batman prequel: “David Albert Mazouz is an American actor. He had several guest roles before joining Fox’s TV series Touch (2012–13), for which he was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Since 2014 he has portrayed a young Bruce Wayne in Fox’s Gotham, based on the DC Comics alter ego of the superhero Batman.”
MEGACON Tampa Bay expects to welcome more than 30,000 fans throughout the weekend with a long roster of celebrity guests, action-packed programming and much more.
Celebrity guests joining the lineup include Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Christian Serratos (The Walking Dead); Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who); Christopher Lloyd(Back To The Future); Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers); Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn and John Delancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation).
More exciting celebrity appearances will be announced leading up to the three-day event. MEGACON Tampa Bay will also feature family-friendly activities and programming, endless shopping, workshops and panels, cosplay contests and more throughout the weekend.

Programming highlights this year include a Harry Potter Escape Room, a series of Star Wars-themed events, Back to the Future DeLorean time machine and an All-Star Voice Actor Live Script reading. First launched in 2016, MEGACONTampa Bay continues to expand in 2018 when it will welcome over 30,000 fans to the Tampa Convention Center, September 21 – September 23, 2018.
