‘Gotham’ season 3 introduces Benedict Samuel as Mad Hatter
Gotham season three is off to an intense start as Ben McKenzie’s Gordon struggles with Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) and her band of monsters created by BD Wong’s Hugo Strange. With the backstory of Bruce Wayne still advancing, Gotham sets up another key villain from Batman’s rogue gallery: Mad Hatter.
Episode three of the new season introduces a hypnotist by the name of Jervis Tetch a.k.a. the Mad Hatter, played by Benedict Samuel (The Walk), enlists the services of Jim Gordon to help him find his missing sister, Alice, played by Naian González Norvind (Cubby). Elsewhere, Penguin makes a big decision and Bruce’s doppelgänger causes trouble for the future Dark Knight.

Synopsis: MAD HATTER ARRIVES IN GOTHAM ON AN ALL-NEW “GOTHAM” MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, ON FOX
Hypnotist Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel) arrives in Gotham to search for his sister, Alice (guest star Naian Gonzalez Norvind), and hires Gordon to help find her. Meanwhile, Penguin decides to run for mayor and Bruce’s doppelganger begins to channel him, causing some confusion around town in the all-new “Mad City: Look Into My Eyes” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Oct. 3 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Season Three will peel back the curtain on the infamous criminal organization known as the Court of The Owls. With the Indian Hill escapees on the loose, JIM GORDON must take matters into his own hands as a bounty hunter in Gotham. He makes it his mission to find HUGO STRANGE, the mastermind behind the horrifying Indian Hill experiments, and FISH MOONEY, one of Strange’s subjects. Meanwhile, GCPD Detective HARVEY BULLOCK and Captain NATHANIEL BARNES remain at the forefront of the fight against crime in the monster-ridden city. Also, BRUCE WAYNE, with the help of his trusted butler and mentor, ALFRED PENNYWORTH, and former Wayne Enterprises employee, LUCIUS FOX, discovers there are still more secrets to uncover regarding his parents’ murders.
