‘Gosnell’ trailer highlights House of Horrors, abortionist and murderer Kermit Gosnell and media’s silence
The long-awaited film Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer will arrive in theaters this fall and shed light on the House of Horrors and the late-term abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell.
Dean Cain (Clark Kent/Superman in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, God’s Not Dead) stars as a detective investigating the crimes of the Philadelphia abortion doctor.
Gosnell, played by Earl Billings, was arrested in 2011 and charged with seven counts of first-degree murder for newborns and one third-degree murder of an expectant mother. The physician was “snipping” the babies spinal cord, ending their lives after partially birthing them. Karnamaya Mongar died in his care during a botched abortion.
The trailer shows the empty courtroom scene, based on a journalist’s photo that became a symbol of the media’s decision to ignore the horrors of the abortion clinic. Check out the footage below.
Gosnell is directed by Nick Searcy (Justified) and also stars Michael Beach (Jesse Kane in the upcoming Aquaman film), Janine Turner (Katie on Friday Night Lights), Sarah Jane Morris, Cyrina Fiallo, Alfonzo Rachel and Darryl Cox.
Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer is slated to hit theaters on October 12.
