GOP consultant says Libertarian won debate in ’15 minutes of fame’
Just days after bashing the Tampa Tribune on their coverage of the Florida special election debate for the House of Representatives, District 13, The Dispatch discovered a GOP consultant (Chris Ingram) has a separate “Other View” op-ed published in the paper.

Libertarian Lucas Overby was the “clear winnter” of the debate despite having “no chance of winning” the election, says the Tampa Tribune op-ed article
The Thursday article pronounces libertarian Lucas Overby “clearly” the winner, saying his “15 minutes of fame were fleeting, albeit refreshing.”
Ingram even noted a member of audience’s reaction as “He’s so real and honest.”
The other two candidates Alex Sink, Democrat and Republican David Jolly, bantered through most of the debate and the Tribume was happy to skirt through in their previous coverage.
Overby is credited iwth being straightforward and as the author states, “he has little to lose, and no chance of winning.”
This is contrasted in the remainder of the coverage as the two main political parties have candidates conceding to their constituents or not answering questions.
Overall Graham does a great job of breaking down the debate to illustrate the truth about Sink and Jolly: voting for Alex Sink is a vote for a candidate who will vote alongside Nancy Pelosi and David Jolly will join the ranks of John Boehner.
No the voters can decide if that is what they are after.

great insight on the coverage, wish you had included a link to the column referenced.
I updated this with the link, sorry again
