Gay bakers refuse ‘gay marriage is wrong’ cake
Theodore Shoebat, communications director for Rescue Christians, recently completed his experiment to determine if gay bakery owners would fill an order for a cake that featured the slogan “Gay Marriage is Wrong.”
Shoebat reportedly was inspired to complete the experiment after hearing about a Christian-owned bakery in Ireland that is facing legal action for refusing to make a cake with a picture of Bert and Ernie with the words “Support Gay Marriage.”

Shoebat said, “A Christian making a homosexual cake with ‘Support Gay Marriage’ goes against his faith and a homosexual putting ‘Gay Marriage Is Wrong’ goes against his faith as well. Now of course we honor their right to say no, this is not the issue, but what about honoring the Christian right to also say no?”
“The big lie of the homosexual agenda is this: They claim that they are only fighting for equality and tolerance. This is false. What then is their agenda? … What should be good for the homosexual should also be good for the polygamist. So where does it end?”
Can you imagine ANY Straight couple using the happiest day of their life as an occasion to display a cake with such a petty slogan on it, just to make a point? I can’t, and that’s why this little prank by Theodore Shoebat is so utterly pathetic and contrived. What a bitter young man he must be.
But, truth be told, if I owned a bakery, and a couple wanted to throw a large sum of money at me to make a cake that said “GAY MARRIAGE IS WRONG,” I’d make them the best damned wedding cake their money could buy, although I’d let them know in advance that wedding cakes with political messages on them are a bit more expensive. In any case I’d make a tidy profit, they’d be stuck looking ridiculous.
