FreedomWorks’ Adam Brandon praises Trump’s efforts to ‘reduce burdensome regulations’
FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented on President Trump’s signing a bill to end the Department of the Interior’s Stream Protection Rule, which targeted the coal industry.
“President Trump’s action today is a refreshing change from the Obama administration, which constantly targeted the coal industry through costly and destructive regulations. This is both good for families in coal country as well as our entire economy, particularly families that rely on inexpensive energy.
“I hope President Trump will continue to look for ways to reduce burdensome regulations, and we urge the Senate to confirm Scott Pruitt to head the EPA. We also look forward to the passage of more resolutions under the Congressional Review Act to nullify Obama’s midnight regulations.”
FreedomWorks key voted H.J. Res. 38 in both the House and the Senate.
