Former Clinton aide Robert Reich calls out Hillary Clinton on secrecy, email scandal
Sunday on ABC’s ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos,” former Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich said Hillary Clinton’s lack of “disclosure” is a “key vulnerability.”
“She’s running a general election campaign already. But I do think the issue of sort of disclosure, a full disclosure is a key vulnerability. She has to, and her husband as well, should put everything out, more disclosure than any other candidate,” Reich said.
Reich dodged an endorsement of Clinton, admitted that he’d work for Bernie Sanders and hit hard over the email scandal.
“She hasn’t yet given a convincing explanation for why she used a private email account when she was secretary of state, and why she and her husband have made so many speeches for hundreds of thousands of dollars a pop from special interests that presumably want something in return. In other words, she needs to be more open and transparent about everything.”
He added Bill Clinton should, “stop the paid speeches.”
Reich worked in the Clinton administration as Secretary of Labor.
