‘Food Safety’ lawyers in search of Cyclospora plaintiffs
Although the source of the current cyclospora outbreak in the Midwestern US have not been pinpointed, and may never be, personal injury attorneys who “specialize” in foodborne illness have been actively seeking out clients who suffered from this parasitic disease.
One such firm is that of Pritzker/Olsen. They operate a website called, Food Poisoning Bulletin, which keeps up on related news.
All of their news articles on the cyclospora outbreak, as far back as 10 days ago, has embedded in it a large blue block that hyperlinks to information on how you can sue.
I get it, it’s their site and they are trying to drum up business, but right in the middle of a news article?
In one article on the website concerning cyclospora and lawsuits, they note, “the firm’s Bad Bug Law Team have won millions for food poisoning victims in personal injury lawsuits throughout the United States.”
What do you think? A form of ambulance chasing?
Yeah, right. Telling people about an outbreak and how to avoid getting sick is “ambulance chasing”. Give me a break.
