Florida: Palm Beach County has identified dead woman Lake Worth canal as Jessica Medica, victim of ‘foul play’
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in Florida has identified the woman found dead in a canal in Lake Worth as Jessica Medina.
Medina, 33, was found Wednesday afternoon in a canal between John Prince Park and Palm Beach State College. Her body was found shortly before 1:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Congress Avenue.
Deputies have not commented on how she was killed.
While details are scarce, detectives have confirmed that Medina’s death is being investigated as a homicide, she is a victim of “foul play.”
The remains were taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
