Florida murder suicide: Melissa Little killed by spouse, Jeff Little, found dead in Clearwater Beach motel
Police identified the couple found dead inside a popular Clearwater Beach hotel from a murder suicide.
The New Port Richey couple is Melissa Sue Little, 50, killed in the second-floor room at Shephard’s Beach Resort by her spouse, Jeffrey Scott Little.
Jeff Little, 50, checked in with Melissa at the hotel the day before.
The bodies of the couple were found by a hotel employee.

Clearwater Police homicide detectives continue to investigate.
This is the third murder-suicide case in the Tampa Bay area this week.
Around midnight on Sunday, a Hillsborough deputy killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself. The couple’s four children were inside the family’s Pasco home when it happened.
Also on Sunday, detectives say a Bradenton man shot and killed his wife and her teenage daughter before shooting and killing himself inside the family’s home.
