Florida Elections 2018: Voters should choose Ashley Moody over Frank White, here’s why
Republican candidates for Florida attorney general are making the rounds for a last minute surge ahead of the August 28 election. Let’s examine why I’d endorse Ashley Moody over Frank White.
DIRTY POLITICS…FAKE NEWS
If you’ve seen the add or read a flyer, White has portrayed Moody as “a lifelong Democrat” and is essentially a leftist trying to fool GOP voters.
White repeatedly points out that Moody initially registered to vote, while a teenager, as a Democrat, and donated to the 2002 Democratic gubernatorial campaign of Bill McBride.

“She gave $100 in 2001 to the late Bill McBride, then a Democratic candidate for governor who supported the Roe v. Wade decision, at a time when Moody had been newly hired by McBride’s law firm, Holland & Knight.”
$100 to a guy she worked with, during the Bush administration….not exactly what White is saying.
She registered as a Democrat as a teen and White is using that against her. Maybe Frank should re-evaluate the President’s resume as Democrat supporter, speaking hardcore Democrat talking points just years ago.
Moody has described White as a “car salesman turned politician” with no prosecutorial experience, while getting endorsement from key Trump supporters, like Pam Bondi.

The 2009 case involved 54-plaintiffs suing Trump and the Trump Organization over a “series of fraudulent and negligent misrepresentations” concerning their involvement in the Trump Tower Tampa condominium project, a now-scuttled $300 million 190-unit development that was supposed to loom 52 stories above the Hillsborough River.
Yes, thank you Ms. Moody for REPRESENTING ALL OF US.
Is it a secret Trump made some bad business and real estate deals along the way? No.
Is it a surprise a lawyer took a case to represent those folks almost a decade ago? No.
“This matter had absolutely no bearing on my family’s support of our President during the election, and I continue to support him and his agenda in Washington,” said Moody in a written statement to POLITICO Florida.
UNITED CONSERVATIVES: FRANK WHITE’S FAKE SITE TO ATTACK ASHLEY MOODY
A new tactic in politics is for a candidate to create site devoted to attacking their opponent(s) trying to appear as an outside source.
Frank White is 100% GUILTY of this action with UNITED CONSERVATIVES.
The site LIBERAL JUDGE is just an attack site perpetuating the earlier point: Moody is a liberal.
This is just awful.
TRUMP DOESN’T…OR SHOULDN’T MATTER SO MUCH
“Voters want a principled conservative that can be trusted to support the president,” White said. “I have a clear voting track record that can be examined. I believe the office is best served by a conservative, and constitutional rule of law is a matter that until my dying breath, as long as the voters trust me, is something I’m going to stand up to fight for.”
POLITICAL DIFFERENCES ARE SLIGHT
Both would follow Bondi by refusing to join a coalition of states suing the Trump administration over the separation of undocumented immigrant families.
Both would continue Bondi’s efforts to take five of the nation’s largest opioid manufacturers and four distributors to court.
Both oppose Amendment 4, which would automatically restore voting rights to felons who have served their sentences.
VERDICT
Frank White should be ashamed of himself.
He abandoned his principles to attack his rival using Saul Alinsky tactics, fake website information and decades old allegations.
Ashley Moody has been steadfast, stating “I’m just the best person for the job” and well….I agree.
