Florida couple, Jonathan Ponce, Meghan Silva arrested: high on Molly, running with machete, chasing ghosts
A Florida couple was arrested while high on the drug Molly, endangered two children while they race out of a house with a machete to “chase ghosts out of a house,” according to deputies. Police identified Jonathan Ponce and Meghan Silva as the Deltona couple arrested in a strange, bizarre story.
Ponce, 31, was arrested for child neglect when Volusia County deputies said they found Silva, 26, running down a street, “high on Molly” and fleeing from Ponce who was wielding a machete to chase ghosts.

The machete was found in the front yard of their home. Ponce also confessed that he was high on Molly and he used the machete “to chase ghosts,” authorities said, verifying the man’s quote.
Investigators said they found a sheath for the machete in a room where a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old were sleeping.
Deputies said Ponce and Silva displayed erratic and paranoid behavior.
Pray for these children who were caught up in all of these shenanigans.
