An Orange County Florida bus driver is in hot water after it became public that he kicked a sick 5-year-old girl off of the bus instead of following the proper procedures.

Reports began Thursday detailing how Daniel Rivera left a young girl on the side of the road after becoming ill on the school bus.

The kindergartner, Lena Guzzo-Aguilar said she had been looking forward to riding the bus for the first time this year.

“I was really excited,” Lena said.

“I didn’t feel so good. My stomach hurted real bad,” Lena said describing her illness to Action News Jax.

The girl vomited in her seat shortly after being picked up at her bus stop. Her mother says Rivera made Lena get off of the bus and then drove away. A neighbor witnessed what happened and walked Lena home.

“What happens if she wasn’t a nice lady and if no parent was there and she got scared?” said Erika Herrera, her mother. “He just saw some lady, didn’t ask questions or show concern.”

A school district representative said the driver was interviewed about the incident. He told them that Lena wanted off the bus, so he let her out.

Rivera is no longer driving a school bus for Orange County. He was reassigned to bus monitor duty, according to the school district.

“I don’t want him to be around kids. I feel he would be unfit for what he did,” said Herrera.

Maybe the mom should have kept the girl home from school…maybe she shouldn’t be around her own kid since she sent her child while being that ill, to school, not to mention exposing other people’s children to whatever she had.Oh, that’s right she wasn’t with her kid, she was pawning her off onto someone else so she wouldn’t have to deal with her for a few hours. No I don’t agree with what the driver did but the other half of the blame lies with the the parent.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. A decent mother would telepathically know when her daughter was going to be sick, even before it happens. Also any decent mother would never send her 5-year-old to kindergarten. Compulsory education is evil.
