First trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s western ‘Django Unchained’
“Life, liberty, and the pursuit of vengeance” is the tagline for Django Unchained, Quentin Tarantino’s first film since 2009’s Oscar-nominated Nazi-themed blockbuster Inglourious Basterds.
Jamie Foxx stars as Django, an escaped slave who goes to rescue his wife (Kerry Washington) from sadistic plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) by teaming up with bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz).
The trailer already reveals the Tarantino music choices, flowery dialogue, and atmosphere.
The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, M.C. Gainey, Walton Goggins, Garret Dillahunt, Dennis Christopher, Gerald McRaney, Laura Cayouette, Don Johnson,and Tom Savini.
Django Unchained opens in theaters on December 25th.
