First ‘Terminator 6’ photo stars Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis and Linda Hamilton
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have revealed the first official Terminator 6 image, offering up a great look at three of the film’s lead characters on their twitter page.
Seen in the photo is Linda Hamilton, reprising her iconic role of Sarah Connor, and then two new characters played by Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049, The Martian, Halt and Catch Fire) and Natalia Reyes (2091).
Deadpool director Tim Miller is at the helm of this untitled Terminator film, which also has James Cameron intimately involved as a producer. Miller, Cameron, and producer David Ellison came up with the story, which will be a direct sequel to Cameron’s classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day and will ignore the other sequels.
Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) is set to star as the latest version of the titular time-traveling killing machine.
Reyes is billed as Dani, a young woman from a working-class class neighborhood in Mexico City who finds herself in the battle between humans and machines. Reyes’ character is being described as the Sarah Connor of the new trilogy while Luna’s Terminator will presumably follow in Robert Patrick’s footsteps as the villain.
Diego Boneta as the brother of Reyes’ character.
Davis plays a soldier-assassin from the future and yes…Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in some capacity.
Terminator 6 arrives in theaters on November 22, 2019 November 1, 2019.
