First teaser for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’

Netflix has been working on four Marvel TV shows, and has released the first trailer for Daredevil, which will debut 13 hour-long episodes on April 10th.

Marvel is expanding its superhero universe to TV beyond Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter and this is the first to Netflix.

Charlie Cox stars at the title character, battling over Hell’s Kitchen at night and fighting crime as lawyer Matt Murdock durng the day. Murdock was ” Blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt fights injustice by day as a respected lawyer and by night as the masked vigilante known as Daredevil in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. He’ll do anything to make his city a better place, but at what price?” notes Marvel.

The preview reveals the authentic religious tones from the comic book series, a quick glance as many of the characters and the mission of Daredevil: “I’m just trying to make my city a better place,” says Cox’s Murdock.

Daredevil also stars Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Scott Glenn as Stick, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Vincent D’Onofrio as The Kingpin, and Peter Shinkoda as original character, Hachiro.

Daredevil will premiere on Netflix, April 10, 2015.
