First poster of ‘Wolverine 3’ now titled ‘Logan’ as ‘Old Man Logan’ story teased
Just as Hugh Jackman teased news coming for Wolverine 3, the new film, twitter blew up with a new poster and leaked copy of the script’s first page revealing the official title: Logan.
Director James Mangold the script pages with the title watermark over the text. The film is rumored to be rated-R and set in the future.
From Simon Kinberg on the film: “I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say about that. I will agree with you that Patrick Stewart was rumored to be a part of that film. It takes place in the future, and as you and others have reported, it is an R-rated movie. It’s violent, it’s kind of like a western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film.”
Both of these factors continue to point to the long running rumor that the story will be derivation of Old Man Logan, one the fans are clamoring for. Check out the poster below.
Collider notes that “The movie means to be more of a dark character study from what we’ve been hearing, with Jackman himself speaking of a different tone to the movie while teasing the upcoming announcements. Then again, the fact that we now know that Mr. Sinister will play a key role, in some capacity, to the action in Logan makes it clear that there will be plenty for X-Men devotees to chew on.”
